SND Grassroot Charities is a collaborative force of three passionate community-based organizations Sweet Generation, Ndangariro Trust, and Dzepfunde working hand-in-hand to uplift the most vulnerable members of society in Epworth, Harare, and surrounding rural provinces in Zimbabwe. Events & Activities by SND Grassroot Charities
Ndangariro Trust
- Therapy Days: Weekly massage and therapy sessions for children with disabilities (currently held on Wednesdays and Thursdays).
- Christmas Party: An annual festive event for children and families supported by the trust.
- Monthly Network Meetings: Joint gatherings with Dzepfunde and other partners for support, training, and collaborative activities.
Dzepfunde
- NDONDOZA Cultural Festival: An annual cultural celebration where youth and women clubs showcase their skills in music, dance, visual arts, and pageantry. Clubs also exhibit handmade products and compete in various categories.
- Workshops & Skills Training Events: Regular training workshops in sewing, housekeeping, fish farming, arts, agriculture, and more.
- Community Outreach Activities: Includes distributing seeds, tools, and other materials to rural and urban youth/women clubs.
- Monthly Network Meetings: Joint gatherings with Dzepfunde and other partners for support, training, and collaborative activities.
- Street Interviews & Community Engagement: Involvement in grassroots storytelling and needs assessments (e.g., interviews with teen mothers and street children).
Joint Events
- Beneficiary Network Meetings: Events bringing together children from Ndangariro and Dzepfunde for joint training and bonding activities.
- Fundraising & Awareness Drives: Though not detailed in the document, they seek funding for joint projects and run awareness campaigns related to disability inclusion, youth development, and elderly care
